  1. Hearing about bears makes me so happy that I live in the UK cause we have no dangerous predators here!

  2. I don’t think classifying Mount Rainier as dangerous because it’s an active volcano is warranted. It’s not going to just erupt at any moment without warning. I have been on the Camp Muir trail, which is easily accessible as a hiker. From Camp Muir, it looks like the summit of the mountain is close, but as someone who has summited the mountain told me very directly, "the climb from Muir is completely different from the hike getting to Muir". If you’re in good shape, you can get to Muir as a hiker in the summer. Only experienced and appropriately outfitted climbers should ever go beyond Muir.

  3. Abram’s Falls is completely safe, unless you don’t respect the rules.

  4. that’s bc there is always some idiot who has barely any experience hiking, coming along on a hike absolutely unprepared, out of shape and just underestimating (or under appreciating) nature

  5. Apparently this guy’s never been attacked by the geese at my local state park

  6. mt washington isnt that bad

  7. Ah, yes, The United Provinces of America.

  8. Hiked down Bright Angle trail in July. Only did 2 miles down. The hike up is all up hill. We were prepared with plenty of water sun screen and long sleeves and hat even though it was in the 80 degree range.

  9. The Maze isn’t really a hike so much as a whole district of the park. It’s probably used for overlanding and mountain biking more than hiking

  10. ANY hiking trail anywhere can be dangerous if the person is unequipped and unprepared. It is amazing how many people go hiking with improper clothing, no map, no compass, no water.

I’ve Hiked Rim to River… It WAS AWESOME! Have you ever seen Angles Landing in Zion?

  12. happy to be watching this from my couch

  13. I was waiting for this one – Huckleberry Mountain with 563 grizzly bears determines this to be a very unsafe hike. But given your statistics, ten deaths since 1967 (55 years) makes your argument pretty weak. Why make sensational stories about an animal that prefers to be left alone? Why always equate wild with savage?

  14. Surprised Angels Landing is not in the list?

  15. Rescued climbers, etc. don’t get rescued for free. If there isn’t some kind of funding in place, then they get a bill in the mail.

  16. U forgot angels landing

  17. I recorded a -5 with the windchill and 70 mph gusts in the first week of november about 25 days ago on mt washington….

  18. The statement that there is snow on Mt. Washington year round made me doubt everything else he said.

  19. Mt Washington is in the top 25 most prominent mountains in the us it is by no means small

  20. May everyone find joy in their outdoor adventures. Personally, mine is at a lake cabin cooking for loved ones in Northern MN. That brings me joys and we do take shorter hikes when the bugs are down. Be safe, enjoy your passions 🌺

Devil’s Path is incredibly strenuous but not dangerous. Barely any climbing and no exposure.

  22. Angel’s Landing is not mentioned. I wonder why.

Why isn’t kalalau trail on this list? You do know Hawaii is part of usa

  24. @josephmclennan1229 November 11, 2024 at 8:12 am

    Chigago south side

  25. Hey Mom, I’ll be right back -I’m going to "hike" Denali 😊😆🤣

  26. The Half Dome.

Wow, this video really shed light on some of the most treacherous hiking trails in America. It’s both thrilling and nerve-wracking to see these breathtaking but extremely dangerous paths. The footage and narration gave a sense of the challenges and risks involved in venturing on these trails. Kudos to the hikers who dare to conquer these trails and to the video creator for showcasing these remarkable but perilous adventures. It’s a reminder that nature demands our utmost respect and that safety should always be the top priority.

  28. I was shocked Angels Landing did not make this list.

  29. Most of the people who have died on Mount Washington were experienced hikers and climbers who chose to climb in dangerous conditions. Sometimes, no amount of preparedness and experience can save you. When in doubt, turn back, it’s not worth your life.

I experienced 115 degree temps in Death Vally NP …. For about 12 minutes. Then I got back in my car and drove back to Las Vegas!

  31. 4:10
Me who lives in Florida: 💀💀💀

  32. The most beautiful hikes in the US are in WA state hands down. Go deep into the mountains and view our alpine lakes. There’s nothing like it 🎉

  33. @JawwadNafeesTravelogue November 11, 2024 at 8:20 am

    watched 10:33 full video

  34. Why do so many people want to do this when they’re are disaster zones or ways to serve the less fortunate

  35. Hottest temp EVER in the US was 134 in Death Valley, California. Nowhere in the USA do temps routinely get to 130, as you say. Just be honest: The video stands alone as outstanding. You don’t have to lie to us to make it more interesting. — Also: It’s Denali, not Mount McKinley. McKinley never even saw that region of the world. — Neither did Admiral Rainier, Captain Vancouver’s good buddy. What a ridiculous name! That mountain should be called Tahoma.

  36. this guy doesnt know about longs peak

  37. Mt. McKinley is now officially Denali. And rescuers charge the climbers for rescue.

  38. Pike’s Peak is one of the least dangerous of the CO 14ers. It’s long, but easy terrain. These lists are never accurate but that one’s not even close.

  39. @anakinskywalker6486 November 11, 2024 at 8:26 am

"yeah we need the close the park down cause there’s too many bears …you can go at night though!" 🤦🤣

  40. Pretty sure Denali rename was well before this was published.

  41. most of the deaths you listed on mount washington are due to small plane crashes….cog railway crashes and medical episodes…not deaths due to weather and terrain.

  42. Half dome is way too high on this list

  43. Well who made these trails?

  44. Mount Washington has many trails. By far, the most dangerous trail is the Huntington ravine trail. Tuckerman, and others aren’t that bad, but the thing mount Washington is most known for is the volatile weather. Hikes in the white mountains can be quite rugged.

*A side note: he keeps referring to Washington as a “small mountain”, which it is when compared to the Rockies, but it’s the second tallest east of the Mississippi and has a prominence of 6,288 feet. Pike’s peak in Colorado for example has a prominence of 5,525 feet. (That is, according to Wikipedia, so who knows…)

  45. Crazy with no angels landing on this hike

  46. @alexscarborough6263 November 11, 2024 at 8:37 am

Most of these are tourist hikes lol

  47. Not Jack Nicholson’s frozen head tho 😂😂

  48. You meant Denali, yeah?

  49. Great video ❤️ 👍
It was very nice to see you all have a wonderful time and doing many nice activities
